About Me: I’m married to Julie and we have three boys – James and twins Nate and Drew. I have the privilege of serving the people of Longview Community Church as a pastor. I completed my Master of Divinity degree from Regent College and my Doctor of Ministry degree from Fuller Seminary. When I am not changing diapers or writing sermons, you’ll find me enjoying a good cup of coffee, reading, pushing my twins in a running stroller around Lake Sacajawea, or on the mountain biking, hiking, and snowboarding.

About The Blog:  This blog is a venue for us to discuss how our faith and life intersect. I started the blog as a way of staying connected with the congregation in Longview while I was stranded in Canada waiting for my visa to come through.  After arriving, I continued the blog because I have found it to be a helpful discipline in my life. It keeps me reading, writing and thinking.

About The Picture:  The picture in the header is of the intersection that Longview Community Church is located at.  It captures the vision of this blog, which is to reflect on how the ministry of the church intersects with life and culture.
